Default This is a response to TC's "sore" thread, I accidently started a new thread, ....

TC, must be nice. I worked on the new house every night last week until 10:00, with the exception of Thursday(midnight), Friday(2:00 am), Saturday(got off early at 8:45), and tonight (10:00). The late hours are tough, but driving an hour home is hell. I couldn't find an diesel fuel(2:00 am) Saturday morning, when I got back up later Saturday morning and found an open station, the truck held 41.5 gallons! It's only got a 40 gallon tank.
I should be getting sheetrock in a couple of days, then I can take it easy.
To get this post back to the subject at hand, my K car will be here on July 3rd. Rich wanted to bring it on the 4th, but fatboy will be lakeside.
Did you dyno the truck before the mods? They did the chip and
exhaust mods on TV("TRUCKS" was they show, I think). The truck was a Dodge diesel and they did a baseline dyno, and then dyno'ed after each mod. If memory serves, the HP about doubled, and the torque took a giany leap( about 200 'lbs.). They might have done the injectors, too.
Do you have any concerns about the exhaust gas temps? I hear that when towing, the temps can get well into the danger zone.

Pyro guage is coming, I know HP=Heat.. Did new circuiit board (factory techs will not see it, 'tis a F550 variant). I think they will smell rat, easy to undo. It's a dial/click program for stock, plus 50, +80, +120HP. Towing only in first setting. The top 2 settings are for (80) light tow mode only, and king shlingaling mode for no trailer. The top 2 modes are pretty interesting. This is the biggest seat of the pants upgrade I have done on any vehicle ever. Taking reality into account , if I wanted to drag race my F-250, all parties that know me, know to shoot me first for such a ridiculous idea! That said, I bought the upgrade for more robustness when towing (I can tell the normal program was done by legal types ), and I can tell you running around town without a trailer in the non-legal setttting...the MPG is at LEAST 3-4 MPG better.

Edit for MPG update:

got 23.2 mpg roundtrip Roswell to Mcdonough.
