At least mine has wheels and tires and I think mine is sitting a bit higher off the ground. I am so close I can feel it

Jay, that looks real close to being done!!
Well made some headway today and fabbed a bracket for the cut-off switch to mount near the battery, and will start installing the padding maybe tonight. I also need to figure out how to mount the fuel isolator.

Just got mine back from the local garage today. Had one of the rear brake calipers rebuilt (leaking badly). Picked it up after work and drove it straight home to outrun the daily afternoon shower. It was the first time I've driven it in about 2 weeks. Man, it sounded goooooood.
Now it needs washed badly. Got all dusty at the shop.

GS. Yours sits a bit higher.. and you aren't on jack-stands anymore!!
Just got back from a early evening ride.... drove to work twice this week.... dodged a few showers... got to use the tonneau cover.... as fun as they are to build, nothin beats an open road in an open roadster!!!
Anyone wants to do a group ride up north one Sunday, lunch in Dahlonega? I'm in.

I cannot make it Sunday due to two reasons:
1. Still working on car (if working includes sitting on the chair writing about it ).
2. Due to work, flying to the land of the folks who know how to surrender and ask for our help, but think the UN rules! That will be taking place on Sunday.

Well, in the end, they get my ass on a plane on a Sunday (MAJOR FEAT) to go to NICE [pronounced Neeeese]. These guys think they are all set until I show up. Then it truly is FTF time. I will either be unemployed or up for a promo when I get back.

Sundays
Chill,
Let me know about the Sunday drive. Tony has been talking about getting a group to drive up to the Dillard House near Helen. However, he may be car-less now. As you know, he is having a 351 on steroids installed.
Let me know.

I don't know guys, today (Sunday) looks pretty nasty. I did a car show in Powder Springs yesterday and barely made it back before the bottom fell out. Dry as a bone the whole way until I got two miles from the house.
Hector, no stroker yet. Bill threatened to put me on the telemarketer "no call" list, so I throttled back a bit. I know he's swamped teaching Mike how to gap rings.
