The build went very well and I can truly say I had a major hand in it. Although Bill joked about there now being no warranty
I was there for 11 hours and it felt like 2 or 3 tops. I was wishing I ordered 9 rods and pistons so I would have an extra for display purposes. Simply amazing workmanship and machining. All the specs were dead on accurate, end play, etc when we were done. The cam is real meaty, should be interesting. Biggest pain and time sink was end gapping all the rings--took about two hours with both Lewis and I working at it! Got the short block done, need to port heads and match to exhaust headers(something I know you can relate to )
Oil cooler arrived yesterday, padding over weekend so I should make headway quickly. Of course I have to fly to Frogland all next week so that will put a slowdown on things.
