Tony,
This is a great idea, and I would be going but we are out of town this weekend. Going camping at the lake
Hope we can get another cruise like this soon.

I wish I could make it, but I have no car to drive. I would have to drive an Army Jeep or something. Too bad , since my girlfriend is going camping this weekend with her family and I have some time off from her sexual demands.

No car to drive?
You of all people cannot use an excuse like that. Next time you go camping try the jeep - I hear it crosses shallow water obstacles better than AC Cobra's.

Funny you should mention my sister. She does happen to be single, and I need to fix her up with a "car guy". Hopefully one that has a shop and tools. Anybody with tools wanna date my sister ?

Since I can't go, the weather will be perfect. While I was down at SA this morning, I made the comment in front of Bill that my Cobra is the only one I've ever driven. He made me take that SPF with the 500 CID BB out for a spin. That was fun.

I'm BAAACK
Hey Guys;
Sorry for the delayed responses, but I just got back from a 2 week stint over the pond.
Let me know about Sunday---I may be able to make it, if I manage to get this hayfield I once called a front yard mowed.
Sounds like lots of cars are finally coming together.

Need Help!
Guys, Gals or anyone with unused or extra oil filter mounts and -10 connectors. My engine is in and everything was going rather smoothly until I tried to hook up my remote oil filter. Due to the residule goop in the threads of the oil filter housing I stripped the NPT threads and have no easy & quick (by Saturday) to replace. I am going to try to have NAPA in the morning with a die set and fix it but I am not optimistic.
If anyone has an extra or unused set I may buy I can replace it for you on Monday. I need a Remote oil filter housing & two connectors for the oil lines (-10 AN on outside).
Thanks!

Tony,
I have an old one that will fit the Motorcraft filter. The fittings are 10 AN at a 45*.
You are more than welcome to use it. I even have some used 10 AN fittings that you can use.
Call my cell, 770-335-9266 tomorow. I have a county swiming meet to attend with my daughter at Emory University between 1:00 and 4:30. I can meet you somewhere.

I have a relocator kit for my FFR that I did not use. The pipe thread fittings won't help as they are for rubber hose, but the remote plate should work. Barnett on Memorial is open Sat. and should have all the AN bits you need - (404) 522-3497
Any more excuses?

It sure is nice to see you guys step up with offers and solutions. Tony was pretty bummed out last night and all seems well today.
Andrea and I are hoping to make it. I have a small oil leak (pressure sending unit I think) but the car runs great. I think I will have time this afternoon to find and fix the leak. I got the car aligned yesterday and it actually goes in the direction I steer, also reduced the tire pressure buy ten pounds all around (Clyde you put all of your air in those rascals).
What is the final count, looks like 5 or six for sure.
Randy

Yes Clyde, Exit 13 off Hwy 400 & take a left if heading north - Kroger will be on the right.
