I bought a Cobra from a gentleman in Wisconson. He had the vehicle titles as a 1988 RECON with an 18 digit VIN #. Of course GA does not recognize that. I went back to Everett Morrison and they reissued a 17 digit VIN. But I have no title Any suggestions? I would like to register the vehicle as a 1967. HELP!!!
A car that old does not need to be titled, just registered. You can get some one at the county tax comiisione's office OR an officer of the law to verify that the VIN number on the car is the same as on the title. had to do that. cotact me va email and we can talk. If you are not trying to get a title I can tell you how I did it. I have mine registered in Macon, GA as a 66 Cobra.
