Georgia doesn't require a title for tag purchase on a vehicle older than 1985. You can just walk into the tag office with a Bill of Sale and get a tag.
This is all you need to know! My friend was in and out of the tag office in 15 minutes. Your bill of sale must match a car that they have in the computer. He used 1965 Shelby Cobra.
