Went to the car show around lunch yesterday. Got there just as it opened at noon. some neat stuff, I'll let the pics speak for themselves. The Bright green Triumph is Alex's. Sadly, I did not take any Lotus Elise pics, a car I have an itch for after sitting in Chill's. the Karman Ghia is going to be a nice ride, classic styling.

Trick photography below...do not try this at home.

Another 11 coming.

TC I had no idea those phone cameras took such good photos - thanks for taking the time to shoot them. Love the auto focus feature

TC- Im going to assume you were taking a picture of my girlfriend and not me in the pic above? (Me=brown shirt, GF=red top) It would have made for a better picture if you asked me to step aside! I didnt see you there, would've said hello!

I was focused on the black 996 Turbo exclusively when taking that picture. Didn't recognize you, otherwise I would have said hello.

Did you sell your Cobra?

Sitting is not the issue, it's the in and out part that is not pretty.

Clyde, with the roof on, would I fit, I saw you mention on EliseTalk that the car might be tight for those over 6 feet?

There must be a threshold for size Adding over 10% of the cars weight might slow it abit

Mike karbowski (flashback)told me the little green 6 got best in class..... I guess the next question should be how many were in that class?? There sure were some neat cars there. Brian S. you going to post the results?

The in and out issue is magnified with the roof on since you can't stand up and step out. You could do it, but it takes some practice and I cannot do it gracefully yet... of course the top's rarely on, so not much practice yet either...

This weekend we can throw the top on and try it.

Clyde, am I correct that the bodies on those are fiberglass? Does it meet all Federal crash standards I assume?

Guys, I swear I am innocent, just look at all the blurry pics above as testimonial to my poor photography skills, and I now realise I should have panned further to the right after reading the manual. Thanks for all picture taking tips.

Figures, I post one pic of a car involving an attractive female nearby on the thread, and with my luck, her boyfriend happens to be a ClubCobra member.

-TC, the busted one

They are lightweight fiberglass of some kind but I am not sure about all the Fed crash tests since Lotus was able to bring the initial 2 years production in on some waivers....
