Get with the McMichaels Motorsport guys (the local Superformance dealer) - they have a display set and invite ALL BRANDS of Cobras to come park in their area. Or ... you just park wherever.

I'm going on Sunday.

Default Parking

We will be set up on the paved section, just on the left before hitting vendor row, directly across from where we were the past 3 years. For those who've never been to Road ATL before, enter the parking line queue. Proceed thru the gate, straight ahead down and then up the hill. Turn left over the Suzuki Bridge and prior to a 4 way intersection, we'll be on the left. It's the paved area that is used for food vendors during the Petit Le Mans. Half of this paved area will be the Cobra Corral, should have room for about 20-25 cars. We are "non-denominational", all Cobra replicas and Beck vehicles are welcome. From there it's a quick walk down the hill and across the main straight to look at the cars in the paddock. Sunday, we'll do the parade laps at lunchtime under the McMichael Motorsports banner, all are welcome. You are also welcome to purchase "touring" laps from HSR, a bit higher speed as there are usually less cars on track. Not sure of times for that, consult the HSR schedule of events. Supposed to be a great 3 day weather weekend. The transporters have been stacking up since Tuesday morning, so it looks like it's going to be a great turnout featuring the IMSA historic cars. The autocross and skid pad tracks are usually also available.

Thanks to the guys at McMichaels Motorsports for the kickbutt parking area. Wish I had made it out on Saturday - sounds like I missed a large turn out. Sunday was ok - not many people there and few really cool races. Guess I'll know better next which day to venture out ...

Default Mitty

Good turnout in the corral on Saturday. Club parade lap that day was horrendous, but the organizers got things going on Sunday's laps, good fun had by all. Lots of good weather and racing action, hope all who attended enjoyed themselves. See everyone back for the Year One Extravaganza May 18-20.
