Default New Steering Wheel, & BOSS for 6x70MM wheel

I thought I had posted this, but I must have made in error so here goes again. Pulled my OEM Moto Lita 13" black leather wheel, and discovered of course my 9 hole Moto-Lita boss and 36 spline steering column shaft. Pictures are below. I wish to use a 6 hole wooden wheel, either a Corso Feroce which I use in my Ford Mustangs, or an original 6 hole Moto Lita example. They are Italian made, 15" and look great IMHO. OR, I could use an adapter on the pictured steering wheel boss, but that adds about an 1" of depth to the steering wheel, and gets a little busier. I checked with Moto Lita, and their 6 hole wheels are 6x62MM PCD, which is kind of proprietary to Moto Lita. They can make me a 6xx62MM boss, and sell me their 6x62MM wheel along with a center cap. Frightfully expensive, but well done. Most 6 holes like the Corso Feroce are 6x70mm PCD, and considerably less expensive. If I go with a 15" Corso wheel, then i will need a new 6x70mm Boss and then the wheel and center cap of course. Anyone use a 6x70mm boss that will fit this SD1 Rover (I am assuming?) column? The boss needs to be about 2" tall to match the OEM boss I removed. Or would you simply use an 9 to 6 hole adapter on top of my existing boss? Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions. Cheers from Dallas, Brad.
