Chas 4150 with a 1.25 drop down base. I have about 1/4 or less before it rubs.
Brent u will have to notch the block on a dart. I do not think so on a world block.
Thanks PL, that's as I remember it. We shaved a Super Vic .500 as a test for Cobras and lost a small bit of torque low down but no HP.
No the World required no notching and the oil pumps were checked and sometimes touched on an edge. Same Eagle 4.250, 4.155 bore. Aluminums weighed 475 pounds w/carb, w/o water pump.

How reliable would this small block be seeing it is max out as far as cubes or does that even matter, compared to a 427 sbf which one would go more miles or would it be the same.
