Default A BIG Thank-You

I just got back form one of the most enjoyable Cobra drives I've had since I finished the car and got it on the road back in 1996. The enigne is working better than it ever has and my driving skills have improved also. So THANK-YOU to all the CC members who have helped me since I recently joined this site.

I now have info on brake upgrades, rev limiters and fire extinguishers. All good winter projects, as long as I don't have to brake hard, have a fire, or over-rev the engine before then.

In addition, a thank-you for all the help when my engine wasn't running right. Good or bad,I appreciate those who helped or tried to help. It was one of those situations where "more heads" were much better than "one" (i.e. mine). Thank-you.

I sincerely hope I can be of assistance to others in the future. But it will be difficult with the expertise already available.

It's been a privilege being a member here. Thank-you again.

I know I was an A$$ to you on one thread, but I'm still going to repeat one item from that thread.

Take a professional driving class where you can use your own car for the class. Think you are having fun now? Just wait until you can safely push it to 8/10's or 9/10's.

You will never get the smile off your face.

Silverback: You have more tact than anyone I know. You should try using some of it up once in a while......LOL.

I'm teasing. It's not a big deal. It's forgotten. But the fact is, you're right. In case you havn't noticed, or don't know, I live in a place without access to dyno's, and no "performance" driving schools. I have considered taking one in the US, but not quite ready yet.

So I'm on my own. That's why forums like this are such an amazing resource for me.

By the way, it appears we are both in the same profession. Perhaps different personalities. I'm sure if we met up with our cars, we could have a good friendly yak about our common interest and common backgrounds.

Take care.

Argess.....I hate to be the one to tell you.....but......you should have read the fine print Jamo put in the "terms and conditions" for membership in Club Cobra. A "BIG" thank you on Clube Cobra is paid for with an organ like a kidney or some other transplantable organ.
Jamo sells them on the black market to help defray the cost of servers and other related internet computer costs!

Would a bunch of used Champion RF9YCs suffice?

Default Wait until you do some suspension upgrades

Argess Wait until the suspension and tires are improved. Once the weight balance, alignment, heavier springs and better shock are added, your car will be as good as the new vettes. Get a road race seat that bolts into the floor and talk to ERA about there Fia, left door cage protection. The hoop is 3" higher than your helmet in the car. You are in a 5 point cage and the body is not cut. You do have to step into the car. Bob does some great engineering of safety ideas for the car. To me the race seat is the biggest thing, you don't have to hold your body in the stock seat.
The nice thing about the ERA car is changing the front shocks an springs only take about 15 minutes and the car goes from road track car to street car.
Did you get the Doctor bill??I see you have been SNAKEBITTEN There is no hope Rick L
