It's carried on most cable systems as well as Direct TV...
It's called HD Theater.

Um, I watched it, wasn't worth it. You get to see a guy's ONE original Cobra that he has the host get running to take to the Meacum auto auction. I recorded it, but wasn't impressed.

Saw it as well. Not so great. Set the reserve for $1.5 mil and "the bid goes on"

PurpleVenom, I guess you don't know who Paul Andrews is that sold that car for $1,165,000. He owns SEVERAL real Cobras and Shelby Mustangs!!!

Yeah, I get that he owns several, but the show was advertised as selling off his "collection" of Co$ras, not ONE. In the end, not much about the car, alot about the show's host and how he knows how to sell cars. Um, so what.? Don't get it, cancelling my DVR recording of this series.

Agree. Way too many commercials. Not much about the car (CSX3034). Comp car converted to an S/C. I wonder what the owner was charged for the rebuilt carb, tune up and detail? I bet it was a lot. The car sat for 5 years, but they discussed absolutely nothing about getting rid of the old gas in the tank.

I agree the show "could" be a lot more interesting if they focused more on the car. But how often do you get to see video of CSX3034 running down the road, much less some barnrat exorcising the Holley demons with a piece of wire, and calling it a "rebuild?"

I kept looking at the car and the engine to get a feel for what these things are supposed to look like. In that respect I liked the show, but in general I think that ol' Wayne is one of the guys that screws up this hobby because he is only in it for the $$$. By the way, I liked how they so conveniently edited out all the work to get the Cobra to "fire up the first time" after sitting for 5 years!
I enjoy wheelers and dealers (it followed this show on my system) much more. Those are a couple of guys that I can relate to and I actually learn something from watching it.
P.S. How would you like to say no to a million dollar bid for your car?!?!?!?!

I guess they forgot that the car was at SAAC-31 three years ago and was running just fine.

Wayne Carrini is in the business of chasing, rebuilding/cleaning up/restoring cars and selling them for a ..... listen carefully..... a PROFIT! Imagine that.
He makes no bones about what he does. That is his business. He likes to make money just like you like to make money. This is really much less of a hobby for him then a business. He should close his business because you think it affects your hobby? His business has nothing to do with the hobby of replica Cobras. Give me a break.
The show is limited in time. You can't expect all info to be included and condensed with conmmercials allowed for.
It was interesting to see an original SC. It was interesting to see how this economy has affected the values of even the heavy weight classics like the Cobra and even the Daytona which also didn't meet reserve and didn't come close to a sale.
Sign of the times my friends.

When Wayne takes if for a drive, watch the gauges -- fuel pressure and ammeter.

The seller stated 3034 was the last of 30 original comp cars. The seller said Shelby (or whoever originally sold it) couldn't sell it in comp form, so they converted it to an S/C.

Oh and they said it had 16,000 original miles too.
For a $1.2MM-ish car, I would have purchased a better car cover, maybe one of those "seal a meal" bags that Patrick uses for his ERA. It's the East Coast for heaven's sake!
