OK, if you want to see Jay driving one of his many cars...hang out around Bob's Big Boy on friday nights in Burbank, Ca. He cruises on Hollywood Way..going and coming from his shop. Good luck!
If you want to see his Cobra replica, go to Jay Leno's Garage on-line.

I've seen him out cruising before. He has some great cars! I do need to get over to Bob's soon though. It's been a long time. Getting parking in there on Friday afternoon is tough! At least it was....

He has a REPLICA? Not a race-history original or two?

This has probably been posted here before, but here's a video of Jay Leno describing and driving his replica.

I hadn't seen it - thanks. That's barely a replica he has.

Great vid. Great car. Great guy. You have the feeling he'd toss you the keys to anything on his floor.

I was in San Diego this weekend and saw a sister car of Leno's that has the tank engine. Here is a picName: 10-18-09_1358.jpg

I love this car, if only because it makes Cobras look sensible.

There was some nut who built a car around a Rolls-Royce Merlin a few years back - 24 liters, something like 2000 HP. The car, of necessity, looked like a 25-foot-long Can-Am racer.

I think that was a 55 chevy. It's on Youtube. Nutty! But very cool!

You know he recently purchased an actual Chrysler Turbine car from the Chrysler collection too - AND HE DRIVES IT! I just read an article in a Mopar magazine. Talk about RARE! Man, I wonder what he had to pay for that. Chrysler destroyed almost all of them after the program was scrapped - only a handful survived.

He's a fortunate man. I would guess money isn't much of an object for him.

He's really a good guy, he talks to everyone and is glad to share his collection, the best part about his web site and his videos are that he always does a burn-out at the end.
Even in his one-off cobra replica.

If any of you ever get into LA don't forget to visit the Nethercutt Museum. A lot like Leno's collection but Free & Open to the public. They have over three hundred cars, most of them before the 50's. They have a full staff of mechanics & everything runs. Quite an amazing site to see so many cars from the early 1900's through the 50's.

This is somewhat related, but not exactly. While browsing the ERA Index I stumbled on a video of the Jay Leno show from a few years ago, with Bill Cosby as his guest. It refers to the twin-supercharged Super Snake (I think the same one Cosby owned - or was it Cosby's that was later crashed??) being sold for $5.5 M which I think was a couple years ago. He asks Cosby to relate his experience with the Cobra and in typical fashion the "Cos" does a great, funny skit on it.

I suspect a lot of you have seen it already but anyone who hasn't needs to do so for a good laugh.
