Default Has anyone hear from Madmiles442?

Madmiles442 was supposed to send me the cost on shipping this and I have not heard from him. It also shows that he has not been on CC since 11-15-09. Hope he is ok.

Terry

If it's still available I could use the Mallory distributor, #31. I sent a PM to CobraDave. I have lots of spare parts in the garage, once I get a moment to see what I have I'll toss it all up on here. This thread is a great idea!

I just got in touch with David, and I'll be taking the Mallory distributor, #31. Once I get home from a road trip I'll be listing a bunch of stuff that I have as well.

Miles,
I received the breather today. You still have not sent me the info on where to send you the payment for the shipping.

Thanks, James, but I got the idea from when I was uber active on corvetteforum.com. I just thought it was the right time to do the same within this community.

The air cleaner and vacuum reservoirs shipped this morning to Bill in Texas and Robert in Tennessee, respectively. Enjoy and don't forget to pay it forward someday down the road when you are able.

I'm surprised no one has jumped on the Billet Specialties hose separators. Maybe I'll just take them to the John Force holiday show this Sunday and leave them on the seat of someone's blinged out '32 Highboy...

Dean,

I'll take the hose separators if no "first timer" wants them. Having already been a proud recipient I don't want to get accused of bogarting the free-bees. I'll dig in the pile for some more stuff myself to add to the mix..

Dave, PM me your address. They'll be shipped tomorrow or Saturday. Shipping is on me for these (they weigh nothing and I'll just toss them into a bubble insulated envelope). In fact, maybe I'll just have Rodney ship them for me with his free UPS channel.

Dean,
Faster AND better looking? You're getting coal in your stocking.

And the shipping isn't really free, it affects the bottom line. Luckily my brothers don't know.

Got it Terry, Thanks a bunch! Sorry, haven't waded through this thread in weeks.

Any chance for a summary of still available items or is it too far gone?

As much as I'd like to take the time to refresh the summary, it's going to take more than I have at the moment. Let's see if others that are staying close to this thread can all help to rebuild it. I will start with the one item that I still have, and then others can quote the previous list and add their numbered item, accordingly.

-Dean

1. Two clear (white) front marker lenses, factory fluted style, from a Superformance. Lucas part with chrome bezel. A nice pair. Would ship from So Cal.

I tried to go back through things and do a complete update and this is what I came up with;

If you are just tuning in, here are the guidelines.

1. You're offering the item for free.
2. Recipient should be willing to pay for shipping, but the offering party can volunteer to cover that if they choose.
3. Recipient pledges to "Pay it forward" at some point in the future with another item for another Cobra enthusiast.
4. Don't abuse the privilege. It's an honor system.
5. Services may also be offered up...indicate City, State.

Here are the items being offered - free basically.

1. Superformance front marker lenses, clear/white type (Lucas with fluted lense and chrome trim ring); 2 pairs available (see red barchetta
2. 2 Piece Rear Seal kit for a 351 Windsor; 2 kits available (see Blas).
4. I have both a 19 and 17 tooth driven speedo gear for a Tremec T600. Let me know if anyone needs them. I will cover postage (see DCDoug).
5. 2 round red tail light lenses that are glass they say "England" and have the number 488 on them; have the 2 trim rings that go with them these are the ones that the rubber grommet holds them in place (see RustyBob)
6. FE engine (complete) in the back of the barn off my crane. (see trularin).
8. 3550 (with shifter) that has a crack in the main case that you can use for parts. Not sure what shape it is in because it was given to me. Whomever wants it pays shipping from Manteca Ca. 95336 - (see tcrist)
9. 99% of the complete stock heater assy "used" for a CRL C427 (see Terry).
10. set of stock ceramic coated SPF side pipes. They need some cracks welded up. (See Silverback51).
14. Steering wheel center cap (small nick) with AC logo. (See vanoochka )
16. A new Duraspark ignition module. ( See Blas )
17. I have the ROTOR, CAP, and the PLUG WIRE COVER new never used for FE? ( See rustybob )
18. 6 70s Vintage Road America Pit/Paddock passes from Road America (see Chris)
19. Cobra valve covers; Ford Motorsport. ( See springin )
21. Polished alum. air cleaner. ( See springin )
26. I still have an early set of 260 heads available - One is an Oct '62 casting and the other is a Nov '62 casting. ( See Nope It's Fake )
29. Original FE oil pump filter housing (the one that bolts onto the block). ( See David Kirkham )
30. I just found an FE distributor hold down--billet, of course. ( See David Kirkham )
32.Available for local pick up, 2 set/pair of SPF "take off" headlights w/o bulb. ( See Randy Rosenberg )
34. I also have a slightly used heater riser elbow from Greg Donohue Restorations ( See elmariachi )
35. Wall and Floor tile ~160 sq ft (see sicilian cobra)
36. 1968 428 CJ Block, needs machining and may need sleev (see xlr8or)
37. Camaro Fr calipers w/ clips and pads. Will fit ERA 427 and 289FIA (see Dangerous Doug)
38. Al Vacuum reservoir (see Red Barcheta)
39. Fuel Pressure regulator (see Mike55)
40. edelbrock 1 inch carb spacer new in box (see kgs365)
41. the cap, rotor, and plug wire cap that sits on top of the cap for Accel dist.#52200 new (See Rusty bob)
42. At least 1 and maybe 2 sets of wire mesh headlight covers. (see 289ace)

Hopefully it is close, but there has been so much action and I am not sure I picked up everything
Also, I did not provide a complete description on some things so please go back through the thread if you need more info on specific items.
Thanks again to Dean for kicking this off.
Jay
PS I have the list as word doc now so it can be updated more easily. Post any corrections and I'll make them and re-post

Sorry Dean,
I tried to keep it easy on you and it looks like I sucked you back in. Update on the headlight covers, there are 2 sets NIB and each set has the mounting brackets, and one of the sets looks like it had 2x the number of brackets needed.
