My hat is off to you David and Tom. I am truly humbled by your generosity. When the donation chain is set up, I will help out with what I can.

How about this.
We all donate $$ to help with the build and then you raffle/auction off the car (say you charge $100 per ticket and limit the tickets to 1000 tickets, or some other number that you can live with) and donate the $$$ to the charity.
That way, we will help with the cost of the build and then some lucky SOB will end up with the car and the kids will get the $$$.
When the FFR forum took donations to help with the cost of the CS lawsuit, they collected between $20k-$30k from their forum members. I would like to think that we could do a lot better than that.
Ideas, anyone?

Dave,
Maybe a list of items that people can purchase to donate to the car?
The stuff that Kirkhams make is not as difficult for you to provide. The other stuff like brakes, wheels, tires, seat belts, steering wheel, battery, switches, mirror etc... may be where people can step in.
Can you make a list of these types of items with price and we can start knocking them out?

David,
You might recall that when you were building my car, my then 8 year old was recovering from cancer and my father on the downhill road with Parkinsons.
I am in.

Primary Children's Hospital Donation Page
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
I've set up a page with a button where you can make donations to the Primary Children's Hospital car build. Thank you all very much for asking for this.
http://www.kirkhammotorsports.com/charity/
- Enter your donation amount and hit the update button FIRST. All other information on the page will be wiped when updating the donation amount.
- Any donation receipts PCH gives us will be mailed to the address given on the first page.
- We can't promise tax exempt status for any of these donations, PCH folks say probably, but YMMV, check with accountant, who knows?
- If you're donating by PayPal, please use this button. All donations are specially flagged as "donation" and it will make accounting much easier for us.
- We will, of course, still accept parts, cash, checks sent however you like.
Thank you again.
For those unfamiliar with the Primary Children's Hospital, here's Wikipedia's description.
