Default If you could have an original Cobra, which one would it be?

If you won Powerball (or your regional equivalent) which of them would you bring home?

I'll wait to post mine. I mentioned it earlier but I'll hold off mentioning it again.

Default The 198 car

BossCER beat me to it. The 198 car would be first and an Lynn Parks roadster with the twin side pipes. After that, either of the blown cobras and then a daytona coupe of the orginial 6. If spare change is still around the GT-40 Of the Gulf colors or the red bullet. Rick L.

Like anything original of any value, who wouldn't want to own one.In reality I would never truly enjoy driving an original, because of it being irreplaceable. The very reason why my kit car is so much fun."Drive it like you Stole it" is the only way to go.

Gee, I hope nobody takes this wrong, but I would rather an original 1966 Lemans winning GT40.

It would have to be a bit pot of cash.

Hal Keck's CSX3008, My wife and I were friends with Hal and Nancy in the Mid 60's and spent many nights working on the car in his garage and weekends on the road to race in the northeast U.S. They were some of the best times of our life.
Would enjoy having "88" in my garage.

I'd be happy to settle for having my old "street" 427 back. I'll bet CSX3121 misses me, or maybe not given the way I drove the snot out of it.

BTW, I missed a chance at owning CSX3002 for the princely sum of $15k back in 1974. Carter Gette had it in unrestored (but still nice) condition at his Ford dealership in Millbrook, NY, and in a weak moment, asked if I wanted the car. I was about $14k short at the time.

I'd keep it red, which was the color it was when it left us.

Since we are dreaming I would like to have CSX 3303 and have Bill Cosby sign the glove box, instead of Shelby.

Marco, your car was an inspiration for mine. I always enjoy stories about you and Carter and your adventures in that car.
