8% charge for seller and 10%-12% for the buyer. Fun to watch, but way too much hype and super risky if you're a seller.

Auction Companies are well compensated. -- when I put my stingray up in Bonhams they do take a chunk on entry as well.

2091 is a pretty early car.;

I want to say it is pre-ford electrical with a LUCAS generator -- ,and a pre-rack and pinion.(worm and sector) car. --

can anyone check my math on that.?

Form the BJ Site ;

"Correct date code engine and transmission. Engine was rebuilt, blue-printed by SDRE, dyno tested 417hp and 356 ft/lbs. Body and interior restoration done prior to current owner. Comes complete with top, side curtains, spare tire and jack.
Details: 1963 Cobra purchased November 1993 by current owner. Engine blue-printed by Skip Davis Racing Engines, May 1995. Transmission was rebuilt with NOS parts, new heater and radiator core installed. The body, chassis and interior was restored prior to current owner. In 1995, the restoration of the engine, transmission, cooling and exhaust systems, engine compartment, instruments and some wiring was done. Specification on engine plus all copies of work orders will accompany vehicle. "

Gulp :Some...wiring...gulp ---BLAS HEEEEELLLLLP !!!! this ones gonna fry !!!

Wow, they have the venue however 20% seems steep. I like BJ as cars sell unlike other auction houses.

Yeah, and a lot of those get bought by the SELLERS (because the car may not get what they expected, so they essentially buy it back, pay both commissions, and trailer it back home). And then set it up for another day.

WIRING?
That's those little round multi-colored tubes with the copper colored stuff clogging them all up right?

Don't forget about the "entry fee" which increases according to the day and time your car goes through the auction.
