I think they would have known if they got back fiberglass after giving them aluminum.

I also noticed they they never outright said that the car was original. When ever price was brought up it was always referenced that a Shelby could fetch over 100k, not over 1MM which is where an original would sit.

I think the show was dumbed down for the masses. Just enough to make it entertaining and watchable. They dont have time to go over the whole damn history with a continuation/real *****fest...Thats what this place is for.
