Sparky69:
That was a very good compilation, Sam Posey was quite good as he has always been. It was good to see the true designer Pete Brock get his dues first hand and hear it in his own words.
3 years ago I was privaleged to be in a vehicle with Dick Smith at the WSCB when we spotted Pete Brock who Dick had been looking for. The 1/2 hour conversation that ensued was fantasic and was puctuated with conversation pinpinting times and events that they had shared while working with Shelby. Pretty heady stuff. Their conversation led me to believe Dick had driven the car in a developmental capacity. It was also discussed that Pete had a true desire to make a 427 Coupe in Aluminum to duplicate the one that languished for so long to have an FE put in it and he wanted Dick to "Shake it down", unfortunately the latter will never happen.
