Was looking for advice regarding the right match of engine to exhaust; moving forward with 2.5" pipe (exiting if front of rear tires) with Flo-Pro glass pack exhaust that flows around 480 cfm.

What's your engine CID & HP? As far as flow rates, all will yield different results because of everybody's different test beds. When I was at Tenneco (Dynomax/Walker/Thrush) we did all our flow testing @ 20.3" H2O, & we tested ALL the competitors. I can give you a pretty good lowdown on how the different mufflers tested.

Also, are you going to use the car to bomb around the street, or all-out racing? Do you want the car quiet, loud, or middle-of-the-road? Also, where are you going to position the mufflers? Is there room for ovals, or tube-type mufflers? Any info you can provide will narrow it down.
