Default Paint Code - ERA

A friend asked for the paint code for my ERA; I bought it second hand so I never dealt with painting and colors. Can any of you ERA owners help me determine what color paint code I have? Who likely painted it, etc?

Thanks.

If you call era with your car number (on a brass plate riveted to the chassis in the engine comp.) they can tell you if they had it painted by one of their shops. If they did they should have the color code in the file.

I got a paint shop invoice with a computer-printed color code, which let me order spot-on touchup paint. This was for a finished ERA roller, though. Check your ERA ID plate; if it has an "S II" code it was sold as a roller and ERA would have handled the paint job. If it has "S I" it was sold as a kit and the first owner did the paint.

Really? I thought ERA issued the plate with chassis number and build code, like this:

I didn't get a plate for my car. I bought an aftermarket cobra plate & put the ERA vin on that. My car is real.

I put a call into to Tony to see if they still have the original records; apparently he is under the weather; will check with him next week.
