Driving a Cobra in the snow is definately an "experience". Perhaps not suitable for many, but it definately fine tunes your driving skills.

I am one of the few who regularly drive in the snow during the winter months. The hardtop is probably no warmer than the convertible top in the winter, but it "looks" warmer

I regularly drive my SPF to work, in up to 2-3" of snow ON the road. Steering input is the most exciting part, as once there is more than an inch of snow on the road, it tends to ride on top of the snow. Any large, sudden steering inputs make little difference in the direction you are headed.
So you take your turns in a wider radius, and use the throttle when neccesary, to complete the turn.
It is exciting, but I have been doing it for 8 years now. Still just as exciting as the first year!

I run Yoko Avids, which give good snow traction in the rear (for a Cobra, anyways). Not sure what I will run next, once my current set wears out.

The salt and whatever else they put on the road does take a toll. I call it "patina". My spring cleanup is probably a little more intense than most!

To each his own. I enjoy hearing my new Roush motor almost every day!
