Doug -- we are not a dealer at this time. --I need to call them and see what the requirments are. I sure could use a substitute vendor to '"a Competitor of theirs" .

Pete -- the lower door area really could use a vent/difuser to direct the air - it does not have one.

I have only needed a defroster twice. -- an early damp morning in Carmel Valley one weekend, I had to go over the pass to the race track and my window fogged up.

-- this was when I didnt have a heater hooked up as I had blown the core a month earlier-- this event spawned the Vintage-Air project.

The other event was the last cobra breakfast I went to -- turned on defroster -- no problem.

No matter which way you go in terms of a heating system, a defroster is a good idea.

As Steve knows, I regularly drive from sea level over a hwy pass that's about 1,800 feet. It doesn't happen that often, but last week my front window fogged up in the blink of an eye. I turned the SPF heater to defrost and the window cleared up right away.
