Default Nice Cobra Website

FYI, I stumbled on a website that had a bunch of great Cobra info - nice winter time reading:

Looks like it's about to close down as well, going from what's written in their forum.

The shutting down of that site has been postponed at least for the time being. The owner is hoping to see a much larger membership for discussions on the cars, the cruises, owner experiences, etc.. Join up. The more the merrier.

I noticed the same thing with photos taken (stolen) from my gallery here on cc. I guess I'm an easy-going guy as well.

I'd seen it before one time and couldn't find it again. There are (uncredited) pictures of my car too when it was being unloaded from the delivery van.

Shelbycsxinfo.com looks like it may be shutting down over the next several months; I liked all the articles that were posted and thought the picture database was pretty impressive.

Default Source of Info?

Hi, why do you get a sense that it will be shutting down? One might speculate that if the larger company is in difficulty, the first things to go would be bits such as this web site.

The shelbyCSXinfo site is pretty darn good. There are free off-line browsers out there that allow you to save off the entire site with all the embedded links, graphics, and pics so you can view them locally off-line. I used BackStreet Browser to save off the shelbyCSXinfo site on my computer.

Good effort, although it's tough to put together something like that without inaccuracies. One that jumps out is he shows pictures of a blue car identified under "CSX3016", but that car is a fake with the owner not being able to show proof that even one nut or bolt or piece of paper is traceable to the original car. The real CSX3016 (remains) were found several years ago with unbroken history all the way back to Bob Grossman.

Geez, you guys are tough.

I was happy to find a bunch of information that I hadn't seen before (all of the old articles). Interesting database of a bunch of different cars, specs, etc.

Some of threads indicated that it was scheduled to close soon; originally right around now, but it looks like it has been postponed for 3 to 4 months.
