The tent contractor's insurance will get hit from all sides on this. You would think that he'd have good coverage due to the nature of what the tents were being used for. If not, then he's probably not returning calls and halfway to Argentina by now....

Lawsuits will fly for many years.

They will sue everyone, including the engineer that approved the installation. (Most permits require engineer certification for temporary structures)

It will be ugly.

The structures should all be permanent.

They can build a "Cover-All" permanent tent type structure for a bargain with a concrete grade beam and piles.

At the Fall AACA Hershey meet, the flea market is held on the Hershey Chocolate paved parking lots, cannot drive stakes securing the tent ropes into the pavement, wonder if the same restrictions applied.

Most use cement blocks of all sizes as an anchor

No restrictions, it is an empty area next to the freeway. The only restriction was cost.. the pegs are in the ground but there are no footings for the upright poles. You would need a lot of blocks, the tents are 800 feet long..
