I don't want to clutter this thread any further, so if you have any Q's please drop me an E-mail or call. as for all the other parts, gas filler/tank, yep I have that too, along with side pipes, rollbar ,front brake scoops, LeMans top, everything to make an authentic looking FiA car, built on an f5 frame. ( Slabside, and CompCar too) ,thanks 13.

Getting this thread back on track................several days ago on either the FFR web site or the forum site there was a picture of the silver MKIV and a second picture of a new 5.0L Coyote engine that is going into the 2011 Mustang.

Could it be that these guys are working with Ford Racing to make a CA legal running car using the 5.0L Coyote engine, similar to the work that has been done with the GM LS3 engine??

Could this be the piece of the puzzle that is missing????

I was thinking that they simply modified the MKIV frame to accept the Coyote mill. I'll be there for the unveiling on the 13th.

I suspect FFR thinks a "very big surprise" is a little more than just a marketing promotion for a new megabuck Ford crate engine.

Very Big Surprise 1: an authentic bodied mkIV car

Very Big Surprise 2: Motor Mounts for the Coyote! Hoooowwwlllll!!!!!

I hope I'm right.

I wonder if Caesar's will take a bet on whether FFR is announcing a 289 on 2/13?

Word is that the new mk4 kits start shipping late March, [jedi mind trick on] with the 289s following shortly thereafter[/jedi mind trick off]. Two of the early mk4 kits are coming to locals here in Central FL. I don't know them but I already told them I was coming over. They don't mind. That's cobra people for ya'.
