Keeping this thread on track, if you're talking about quality I would guess that they are about the same, although in reading about the SPF's on the gt-40 forum it appears that SPF's seem to have quite a few design and reliability issues.

As far as the shape, I am hard pressed to see much wrong with the CAV - then again I may be biased. lol
