I read this on the SAAC site " We are now taking orders for the new Shelby Registry. This edition will contain information and photos of 1965-67 Shelbys, including R-models and Shelby Trans-Am cars. " Am I to understand that that means the ford built 68' and up Shelbys are not in the registry ?

Sorry, no, with the amount of documentation that SAAC now has on each Shelby built, it becomes nessasary to break down each book to certain years so as to not make the book larger than the world dictionary. The first edition was Cobra and GT40 related, the next volume will be 65-67 Shelby related, after that the third edition will be 68-70 Shelby related.

Thanks Bill , I was worried that they weren't excepting 68's as real shelby's , this makes more sense .

Sorry to highjack your thread SDR but I have a question: I'm going to order the newest Cobra registry and would like to know if the registry comes in disc form or online or searchable in some way. (besides thumbing through page after page)
