Sorry for the delayed response. The problem was a crimped fuel line. Car is running great. BTW, my engine is the 427R version with "550 hp". On the card that came with the motor, it says 524hp. We had it dyno'd and it showed 465hp at the rear. A few people have recommended chainging the carb to the pro system setup. Has anyone done this? They say it makes the car run smoother and adds HP. My only concern is voiding the roush warranty.

If it's running good, drive it for a while. 465 hp will get you down the road just fine.

You can always swap out the carb after the engine is out of warranty.

Something is quirky that is only a 11% powertrain loss. You must have magnetic air bearings. Most powertrain losses are 15 to 20%. 550hp*20% -550 = 440hp. so even at 15% powertrain loss 467 hp where is where you are at the rear wheels. I would contact roush is it is only 524hp with the "r" engine. I have never seen one that low but is very close to the sr. Did you call Roush 1-800-59roush and ask them to email the dyno sheet. The engine s/n and r,sr,sr/tw will be at the top. The little tag hanging from the distributor that indicates hp and oil pressure does not indicate which "r" version.
