Another identifythread, 427
This is laying in dads garage. I did some research and came across this thread Please help me ID a possible 427.
From what I can see, it has the 3 cross bolted main bearings, the same oil gallery? In one of the pics you see a P and 352, on the other end you see a 66-427. So in reality because of so many different opinions and facts I've read I still cant tell what's real and what's not. I appreciate the help!
My dad also has a running 427 in a older ford ranger truck that he used to hot rod around the streets, its got a slight lift and some racing wheels/tires. Its old school, like 70's I think. Ill get some pics of that asap so I can have you folks take a look at that as well. I am excited to pinpoint what these are so I can decide which one I want to put into a cobra body. My mom has a 69 fastback she is restoring so maybe one might find its way there. Thanks again for the help!
