This place in Tracy rents enclosed car trailers. Here is the link below.

If you go open trailer do not cover it al all. I covered my boat 1 time in 20 years of towing during a rainstorm. It beat the hell out of it. Fortunately it was Gelcoat and I was able to rub most of the scratches out. From that point on I pull the drain plug and let the rain in if that ever happens again.

Good luck,

Mike

Depending how anal you are: all the above plus the bottom curve behind the rear wheels. The headlights on down to the bottom edge, all across the front and scoop area. The parking light area takes a beating around to the wheel arch. I might leave the radiator inlet alone and not go up to the hood-but it does get sprayed. I've got chips on the hood scoop leading edge and surely the windshield. Those are 100+MPH rocks coming at you...

im not famiiar with the US trademame, but if its the 3M transparent adhesive sheet, rather like helicopter tape, and instructions say it needs 'gentle heat' to remove it- then beware. i know one guy who did this on the hips - once it got moisture and road debris damage he wanted to replace it- came off nice'n'easy, along with all the paint underneath! this was on a car with a $7k paint job.

Good point-there are several brands. A search on here will tell what's good.
