If the GM LS3 is smog compliant does that mean they will do away with the SB-100
in California and make EVERYBODY change over to the LS3 ????????
It may be a step in the "GREEN DIRECTION" but is it the step EVERYBODY
wants to take ?????????

It's just another option. Right now, there are no rumblings about doing away with SB100. In fact, the latest news is that they are moving some legislation through that will increase the number from 500 to 750.

Hey, there are a number of States that are a lot tougher than California.

I've pondered this myself. I'd rather trailer my Cobra 'as is' to a track, than put in an E-rod. The GS is different since GM has a dirty history of putting anything in their cars
What if I bought a truck and trailer? What would the difference be to the environment if I drove my Cobra 40-50 miles per week (as I do now) compared to trailering it to a track once a month and running the hell out of it?

i know 1 or 2 guys who do just that in the uk. with gas running at $9 a gallon here, and the extra miles a diesel truck will do, even trailering, it can make sense if you live miles out in the backwoods.

a number of cobs over here run LS engines here, im sorry to say.
Brothers, please forgive me for the offensive GM words ive uttered
