Can anybody tell me what type/size of thread is on the block for the oil filter on a 1989 Ford V8 5.0ltr HO?

Should be 3/4 x 16in. threads,should be the same for all 302/351-W engines.....this will screw on the "nipple" on the block.......

I don't think that you are allowed to say "nipple" on a public forum like this !!!

okee-dokee, the threads on the "thingamajig"/"dohickey" that the oil filters screws onto are 3/4 by 16 in. threads.........
