New member and working on a new Cobra
I am currently deciding (as most of you have already done) what color, what engine, and what options to get in a brand new Cobra. Not to open this up too much, but is the Roush 427SR-TW worth the extra $3-$4k vs. the Ford Racing 427? I rode in and drove a car with the Ford motor and I was impressed. Is there anything that makes the Roush $4k more superior?
Also, does anyone have a happy story for titling in PA? I contacted an auto tag place and it seems that may be the way to go.

Welcome!
Have you decided on a manufacturer?

Thanks LMH.
I have. I have been admiring for over ten years. I am not too concerned with authenticity, but sexy. Backdraft seems to be the fit for me. In person, I believe the BDR is the sexiest of the bunch. I don't want to build, I just want to drive.

Nice car. Not my cup of tea but it's a well made car for sure.
On your question is the Roush engine worth the extra expense... not in my opinion. Maybe slightly for resale or maybe not. I could think of better places to spend the $4000 though!

The Roush engine is nice, but not a lot of bang for the buck. I think you can do a lot better elsewhere - like from Ford.

Thank you gents. The decision has been made. The Ford Racing, Boss 351 block, 427 - 535 HP, 545 torque. Deposit is in the mail. If I were any more excited, I might pee all over the computer room.

It's always a tough call because of different tastes and performance needs, your better off trying out cars with different hp and engine sizes just to get a better feel. The car builders has to be your choice again because of several reasons.Good Luck and have fun in your search.

Engine: Most bang for the buck and tailored to your specs, driving habits, horsepower, etc., my choice is Keith Craft. He is a Club Cobra sponsor and he'll answer all your questions.
