Default Scotts Valley "Cops & Rodders", Saturday July 17

Okay, so it isn't a Cobra show, but there will some cool cars present for the Scotts Valley "Cops & Rodders" car show---even Mr. Canepa will show some of his cars.

I like to see some of my Cobra brothers there. Be there, or be somewhere else you don't really want to be.

Details, details, details:
The Scotts Valley
Peace Officers Association
All proceeds benefit local schools and youth programs.
Schedule of Events
• 7:00AM to 8:00AM Pre-Registered participants will meet at the Santa Cruz
Beach Boardwalk for Check-in.
• 8:00 AM Cruise will begin (limited to first 150 cars)!
• 9:00 AM Car Show opens to the public!
• All judging will take place from 10:00AM to 11:30AM (Pre-registered Cars Only)
• Gravity Drag Races start at 12:00PM (Open to all interested car show participants. Gravity is
what wins this event: no engine power is allowed!)
• Awards will be presented between 1:00PM to 2:00PM
• 1984 and older vehicles only—this will be a “hoods up” judged event!!
(Judged by Amateur Judges)
The day will begin with all pre-registered participants meeting for a “Breakfast of Champions” (Coffee and
Donuts) at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. The participants will cruise with a police escort from the
Boardwalk along the scenic coast to Capitola and then back to Siltanen Park in Scotts Valley for the show!
17th Annual Cops ‘n’ Rodders
Car Show and Cruise
July 17th, Saturday 7:00AM to 2:00PM
• BBQ Lunch (not included in registration fee)
• Jump House for the kids
• Snack Bar throughout the event
• Police/Fire-Rescue/Safety Exhibits
• Classic Car Show and Judging, including awards
for first and second best in each division for Pre-
Registered Cars Only.
Directions to Siltanen Park
Siltanen Park is located at 141 Vine Hill School Road in Scotts Valley, California.
Take Highway 17 to the Granite Creek exit and drive to Scotts Valley
Drive which is located near the Hacienda Shell Station. Go north 1/2
mile on Scotts Valley Drive and turn left on Vine Hill School Road for a
short drive to the park.

I just saw your post Doug. I may try to make a run over there later on to check out the show. I don't recall seeing an ads or press about the event.
