Anyone heard of a 4wd/awd cobra?

I nearly bought a Subaru WRX at a damaged vehicle auction for AU$2300.
For that sort of money it was worth sticking in the shed until I found something to do with it. After looking at the wheelbase and track it wasn't far off. Hmmm.....

My choice would go to the quattro system from audi. Audi V8, gearbox and transfer case should do the trick.

You might get a LOT of understeer though, converting to AWD. But in regions where there's a lot of rain or dirt on the road, it would be a good idea.
