Mine, too, but for a different reason, I suspect.....I absolutely believe that the canted-valve head design used on the Boss 302, Cleveland 335 series Ford engines, and the big block 385 series Ford engines is a much better method of getting the A/F charge into the engine. The Boss 429 was a different animal, sorta a "hemi", sorta not, but the Boss 302 and Boss 351 engines were IMHO the pinnacle of Ford's small block production.......
......until now. This "Coyote" engine's specs look pretty good, but, again IMHO, I think they should call this Mustang something other than a Boss 302 b/c there are still some of us who think the original Boss 302 Mustang might well have been the best vintange Mustang of all. Gotta use a "B" word? OK, call it a "Badass 302", there are lots of other names you could use, just leave our venerated "Boss 302" alone, please .
Cheers from Dugly
