Default Frame for Jag Suspension components

Anyone know of a kit builder out there that makes a frame with mounts for Jag suspension components - front and rear - not XKE but XJS - 12. It looks as if the rear is pretty similar to the XKE with the inboard disc brakes, but wider. The front appears to be nearly identical to the older sedans. Thanks.

Hi
I think Midstates Cobra used to offer Jaguar suspension, but unfortunately they are now out of business.
There are several Cobra manufacturers over the pond in England who build and supply Jaguar Suspension square tube Cobra chassis and bodies.

Try.

Unique Motorcars uses the Jag rear suspension, but a modified MG up front. You can find them at:

It is a great kit!

Terry1,

You might try this question in England: http://www.cobraclub.com/

One difficulty is that the XJ is wider, leading to some potential problems getting everything to fit under the fenders.

Lots of US-made kits use the Jag rear, but even if the XJ center section is used, the axles are normally made significantly shorter than the XJ axle length.

If you do a little searching, you can probably find the track widths for Cobras and XJ series cars and compare for yourself.

Tom

This is how ERA does it-but this is a Series I IRS. Cradle is almost the same.

Does anyone know the status of Concours West Industries in Washington (C.W.I.)

http://www.cwiinc.com/

The main phone number is disconnected, cell phone messages are not returned and neither are e-mails.

Thanks,
Greg
