Default I need your HELP on editing some old racing footage

I have just acquired a DVD made from 8mm film of vintage road course racing footage of around 1964. Since my source of this original film came from people living in Ohio I think it might have been shot at the Mid-Ohio race course, which opened in 1962. Every frame has age problems but some of the footage I think is priceless, especially if it could be cleaned up and unwanted footage deleted. I see images of a red Ferraria coupe marked with a 23 and a blue Cobra roadster marked 99, red Cobra roadster marked 98, a red Cobra marked 48 and a blue Cobra 33. What I’m asking is there anyone who would like to take on the project of cleaning up this DVD and making a new DVD that would really be priceless.

Digital restoration can vary. -- have you spoken to the Family DVD shops in your area>? they may be able to do this 90% the way for 10 % the $.

Steve,
There is an out-fit that advertises in our local paper on taking 8mm film and putting it on a DVD but I have not seen the ad in the last couple of days, plus this has already been done. The only problem it was just copied and no attempt was made to clean up all the problems on this aging film. I was hoping with all the talent here at clubcobra that some one would volunteer to turn this movie into some gem.
