First, you might consider asking your question in a new thread. Hopefully CW will do that for you.
Second. It's highly unlikely that you have a "AC Cobra". Rather you have someone's kit. There are something like 40 possible manufacturers, and all are put together in their own unique way. If you don't know the manufacturer, post pictures of your car, especially of the engine compartment, interior and trunk. It's almost impossible to tell a manufacturer from an outside view. Also describing the front and rear suspension will help.
