Default Has anyone tried the Braille lightweight battery?

I am thinking of going to this battery to save about 25lbs. Anyone got any experience? They make different weights, but I like the 11.5 lb one. It is supposed to be about 350 CCA. Not bad.

My car has the original deep cycle battery since 1993 always on a tender.Considering something like this for one of our Harleys.

Default Use Odyssey

About the same battery, I use in my super seven but it only has to start a s2000 engine, and it struggles, don't think it would be a good choice for a v8. The off road boys use this type of battery because they do the upside down thing all the time. They also strap two batteries together for enough cranking am hours. These batteries also require being maintained, don't let them become fully discharged or they can be damaged permanently. If you are looking to save a few pounds, look other places, much cheaper. db

Look for conventional battery close in size to a group 55. Plenty of juice.
