American Collectors Insurance
Has anyone had any experience with American Collectors Insurance? I've seen all the usual recommendations and am still considering most of them, but I'd like to hear what anyone knows about this company in particular.
Cobra Make, Engine: Purchased CSX3225 in 1968 for $4,995. Original 428 car but changed to 427 MR about 20 years ago.

I have used them for years and have been very happy with them. I had a 60 Rolls that I totaled and they paid the stated value without any problems plus the repairs to the other vehicle. The accident was my fault since the brakes failed on the car and I rolled through a stop sign on to a highway at about 5-10 miles per hour and was hit by a 3/4 ton truck going about 55. I didn't get a ticket but it was my fault. The only negative is that they have a limit to the amount you drive although you can up the amount by paying a higher rate. I currently have my Cobra and a 52 Chevy hotrod insured by them and feel the rates are very good.

Thanks for the responses. I couldn't find anything about them when searching. It's nice to see some people here have been happy with them. I'll keep them in consideration.
