Ontario, Canada SPF?
Hello Everyone!
I have a question...... I found an ad for a 2006 SPF on legendary motorcar's website this morning (www.legendarymotorcar.com) The unusual thing is the fact that is a 2006. I was wondering if this car is illegally in Ontario? Due to the fact that the Ministry shut down Macro and made it illegal to import them into Ontario. Or do you think this one might have been one of the last SPF's allowed into Ontario? I appreciate your comments and opinions. My quest continues!! Thanks :D Stu. |
I understand that car is OK with Transport Canada and Ontario. It is "grandfathered" in as are some other SPFs in Canada. I would assume you insist on Legendary's assurance and repurchase if there is a problem.

I called and the woman told me it sold for... get this.... $49,900.
now I dont know if that was CAD or US. as for car # I didnt remember to ask after she told me what it sold for. also didnt ask if it was brought in to Canada or if it was an original Canadian Car. |

The car was all black! stripe delete, black side pipes. The car sold for $49,900 Cdn. The salesman gave me the wrong chassis number when I asked him. He wasn't very knowledgeable about the car.
I had emailed him twice during the day. I called him and left him a message to phone me. I never heard back from him till 5:35pm telling me "sorry it's sold"!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Stu. |

I think I've checked this car out a couple of months ago. I believe this guy lives in Markham and his name is Boris......... I remember I wasn't impressed with his engine bay at all.
