Birdman. How long have you had your ERA? It's blue!! That's an early car - how many miles on her? What motor and transmission? Good looking car (but you already knew that).

It was built in 1990. ERA #291. But it has less than 5000 miles on it. Keith Krath 427 side oiler, 512 hp @ 6000 rpm. Close ratio top loader, 3.23 posi Jag rear end.

I have had all sorts of cars all my life, including a 61 falcon drag car, 460 stroked to 511, power glide, 4.56 dana 60. It would run 9.41 all day long. I also have a John Cooper 1979 Mini Cooper S, and a custom bike with a 115 horse, 107 Ultima. (picture)

But my all time favorite car has always been the AC Cobra. I just got the car a couple of weeks ago. Been searching for months for the perfect one. It came from TX. This has been a life long dream for me to some day own an AC. And I finally got it.

Yes, it's nice for me to see someone else from OR. Are there any Cobra clubs or get togethers in OR?

I built drag cars for years, my expertise was the 460. Never did anything with the 427s so this is all new to me. Are there any quirks or things I should know or watch for with the ERA car or 427?

Great looking Mini.

A good friend of mine has two of the originals, and one of the new ones. Great kick ass cars.

You should check out http://www.cascadecobras.com/

I've only had my FFR Cobra for a few weeks also so I haven't attended any of their events.
