Doug, I'm afraid that in today's economic market you're going to have to slash it further, or let it sit.

Thanks, Patrick.
As with everything, there is always a bit of room to maneuver, but unfortunately I'm not going to be able to give it away. Having looked at the engine mentioned above, there are many additional upgraded parts in my engine as well as additional custom type work. I'd certainly be willing to talk privately with anyone who may be interested. Thanks for your input.

Doug,
Very similar to my KC496 I did last fall except I have stage III heads but also solid roller etc and mine made 681HP at the crank. Extremely Fair asking price with the upgrades and extras like the turkey pan. You might consider putting it on Ebay and a couple other performance sites like the FE site.

Thanks, Gary. It looks like the approx. 625 HP that Keith told me it would make woith the parts he supplied is certainly valid. I would think that your Stage III heads make the HP difference between mine and yours right in the ballpark. Thanks for the kind words and validation on the pricing. I was hoping I was doing the right thing on the price. By the way, Gary - your car look to be on of the nicest I've seen. Outstanding job - I hope I get to see it one day.

Doug,
Hope all is going well with you and your treatments. I've been following the progress on your Cobra now in Ed's hands. If you are feeling well in late March come to San Marcos for the Texas spring meet. I'll have the car there and love to take you for a spin!!!

Guys, the engine is SOLD !!
I need to arrange shipping, can anyone recommend a decent shipping company that won't charge an arm and a leg? Also, does anyone have any tips on the best way to crate this engine up? I want to make absolutely certain that it's done correctly. My engine builder has done it numerous times before, but I want to fly up to NY to inspect what he has done when he's finished so I'm sure that it's proper and secure. Thanks!

Hi, Gary -
Hopefully I'm up to attending, I'd love to head out to San Marcos to meet all the Texas guys. I'm working hard to try to beat this darn disease, if I don't beat it, it'll at least know it was in a hell of a fight!
Once I'm done I'll do my best to get out there. Thanks for the invitation and the kind words. I hope to see your incredible car one day.
Doug
