I'm not talking about chirping the tires on an upshift, I'm talking about wide open, foot through the firewall in 3rd and 4th gear.....

The answer is, no.....

Once you get these cars out of 2nd or the bottom of 3rd gear and you're really moving down the road, you catch traction and your clutch is dealing with everything your engine is putting down to the ground.

The only time you under-clutch a system is if you have a weak gearbox like a T5 and you don't want to scatter the thing all over the road.

Otherwise, you put enough clutch in the car to hold the engine. None of us have cars that will not hook up in 4th gear or 5th gear....why pick a clutch that will slip?

Well, alright. I believe you. When my CF wears out I'll replace it with whatever you sell me. I don't see how a CF is tricky to install though for anyone -- the weights are hoaky and most of us just rip them out. Then all there is to it is using the right tool to align it all (Forte sells a nice one for the TKO/Ford Crank) and so long as your bellhousing is aligned, that's pretty much it.
