Default Show me your WHITE sidepipes!!!

Ok, all this showing off & black sidepipe talk has somehow morphed my imagination into thinking about painting my pipes white. So show me your white pipes!!! I mean.... sidepipes!

When I decided to paint my pipes, it was actually a toss up between black and white. The great thing is it's really easy to change, so I might still give it a try. If I do, I promise to post some hard numbers for a proper performance comparison!

Here's mine - white stripes, white pipes, white wheel centers:

The stripes and wheel centers are actually White Pearl, the pipes were coated by Airborn, and have been
touched-up with VHT Hi-Temp White Header paint.

That's kinda my line of thought also. White is damn intimidating. Especially with a little exhaust residue.

I'm rushing off to a meeting, but there should be some pictures of my white sidepipes in my gallery, if you wish to look in there.

That's actually not a bad idea at all! Nobody can see both pipes at the same time - good way to have the best of both worlds.

Looks great! I think I'm going to try it. I'm thinking *13* might look vintage cool with white pipes. Good thing is, it's not a permanent change.

That is the nice thing about doing pipes... can always change them if you don't like it or tired. Mine started out as silver rattle can paint. Now it's white. I like the white now so when it comes time to get my custom exhaust system made, I'll ceramic coat it white right up through the headers.
