Default Where to start

Let's see this line of BS.
Cobra 2,500 lbs, Super snake 3,800 pounds This is true
Driver of cobra on road course, Drives like MISS DAISY, soft shifts, no power slides, sunday afternoon drive. How old are those BB tires?? Car is running 15" tires. The suspension is very soft, car leans alot in the turns. Long shifts.
1/4 mile time, more crap as others have said. I ran better than that time with a 452 motor with 386 hp and 448 of torque at E-town and Gateway. I used only 3 gears and left the line off idle. MPH show that the guy was dumping on the gas pedal. You DON'T run 12.9 and have a 121 mph trap speed. Must have stopped for coffee and waited for the stang to catch up.If they wanted a faster time from the cobra in the road course, new set of tires would have helped. The barnyard door (cobra) looks about even up with the stang for cutting through the air. Open up those side pipes and see what was left on the table. Now for the stang,
Super Stang, with a blower any car can become 700HP without a lot of work being done to the motor. More boost, A larger set of injectors, intercooler or water injection, custom tuning of the ECU. This car is about 1,500 pounds heavier and this makes a statement about how strong this car is. weight helped this car to launch with new slicks. Put this car up against a Camaro with a blown LS7 and we will see who is the big dog in the weeds. Driver of stang, power slides, they loss time when driving, banging the motor off the rev limiter, lost time, bigger wheels and tires, a plus. The stang has P/S, larger brakes (ABS), traction control and an upgrade suspension setup. A large plus. If CS wants to put a current built car up against a current built car maybe COBRA#3170 would be willing to have a match race. Seeing the optima challenge from 2 years ago shows that a cobra is still the bench mark to compare cars too. I am sure Jerry wouldn't mind taking out 3170 for a couple of shake down laps and show what Bruce has done with a orginial cobra. I'm not sure If 3170 even has power steering. Here is another case of the CS rope a dope. The Stang is quite a car and passes emmissions of Cali. for 2011 and making great power. The cobra has been around for more than 40 years and still worth it's weight in silver. Let's see if the stang will be worth the same in 40 years if we still have gas. Rick L. who's next???
