My Speed Demon has served me well for over 10 years. Maybe because I got it long ago.

Right with you. Have a Speed Demon on mine for 8 years now, the only trouble it has ever given was the need to drill the butterflys for more air at idle speed. I've had far, far worse issues with Holley equipment for well past 40 years.
They may not have been filet-mignon-perfect, but they certainly pushed Holley into producing much better stuff.

Mine isn't that old, but once I jetted it to the motor's liking, I have not touched it again,been on my race car 5 or 6 years now and I bought it used back then from a fellow CC member!!!!!!!
