I would like to replace the eye sore of a hood scoop that is on my car with the Super Snake scoop. I need a fiberglass version with the dimensions and then some advice as to installing it. I've done a little fiberglass work before but it didn't have to look good, just for strength.
Mr. Bruce that is excellent. Is it a complete hood? It just needs to be fit to the body opening and have the hinges and latches installed? OR- Does it bond to the top of your existing hood?
2 pieces, outer hood with the scoop, and an innerliner, glue in some plates to bolt your hinges to, and then glue the inner/outer together, sand the outside edge to fit the opening, I sent you a picture of the inner liner
Thanks for the pictures Mr. Bruce. There is no doubt about it - It's a very professional looking and top quility hood. If we could work something out on a thin version of the outer with the scoop that I could glue\fiberglass to my existing hood let me know. Thanks
I bought a Mr. Bruce hood scoop several years ago. Just the scoop. Cut the hood and glued and glassed it in top and bottom. Looks like one piece hood. Perfect. I could send pics but can't post on here. I don't know how. But he does great work.
